At Acts 9 Church, we are a Bible-rooted, Spirit-led, Christ-centered community. Our faith is built on the finished work of Jesus and the unshakable truth of God’s Word. We don’t claim to know it all, but we follow the One who does.
Here’s what grounds us:
1. One God, eternally present.
We believe in the one true God who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” — Deuteronomy 6:4
2. Jesus is Lord.
We believe the Gospel is the good news that Jesus came to rescue sinners, redeem lives, and restore purpose. Fully God and fully man, Jesus came to save the world, not condemn it. He lived sinless, died sacrificially, rose victoriously, and is coming back again.
“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Timothy 2:5
“Jesus said… ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.’” — John 14:6
3. The Bible is our foundation.
Inspired by God and useful for teaching, correcting, and equipping, we hold Scripture as the final authority on all matters of faith and life.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” — 2 Timothy 3:16-17
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
4. Grace is not earned.
We are saved by grace through faith, not performance. Redemption is a gift, not a reward.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith… it is the gift of God, not of works.”— Ephesians 2:8-9
“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
5. The Spirit still speaks.
We believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to live a holy life, love boldly, and walk in our God-given purpose.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” — Acts 1:8
“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” — Romans 8:16
6. The Church is God’s plan A.
We are a body, not a building, called to community, service, and mission.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”— Hebrews 10:24-25
7. Unity over uniformity.
We don’t all look the same, vote the same, or understand every doctrine the same, but we are united under the name above every name: Jesus.
“There is one body and one Spirit… one Lord, one faith, one baptism.” — Ephesians 4:4-6
“May they be brought to complete unity… so that the world may know that You sent Me.” — John 17:23
8. The mission is still alive.
We exist to make disciples, not fans. To equip, not entertain. To send, not just to gather.
“Go and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19-20
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…” — Luke 10:2
We are not here to sell religion. We’re here to live the Gospel.
We follow a risen Savior, not a ritual. And His name is Jesus.
